FAS Udara Flying Club is a highly professional flight training centre operating from D’Nest Hanger, Subang Airport. Established in September 2004, FAS Udara caters for those seeking cost effective programmes be it obtaining a Private Pilot License, A Refresher Course for those who would like to brush up their existing skills and a Flight Introductory Programme for those who would like a sneak preview into the world of sports aviation.
Since 2004, several students have been nurtured into becoming outstanding pilots. Our club has received tremendous support from our former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad since commencement as he was our first Patron.
With the recent announcement for fleet and route expansion made by AirAsia and other regional Airlines in the same league and the present shortages in training slots by existing training providers, FAS Udara acts as a basic pilot training provider up to Private Pilot License standard by using our fleet Cessna 150, Cessna 152 and Cessna 172.
We possess three Cessna training aircrafts, thus making it easier for our students to complete their courses on time without having to wait indefinitely to utilize the aircraft for training. FAS Udara intends to highlight the importance of people’s involvement in aviation especially in flying activities. Flying is the most exhilarating activity of which was previously known to be an exclusive group involvement only. With a totally competitive and affordable package crafted by FAS Udara Flying Club for its students, now everyone can learn how to fly.
The aviation industry is seeing exponential growth and rapidly becoming a more cost efficient business activity, where not only those from an aviation background can participate but those from a diversified field such as management, administration, finance as well as marketing, may learn and be involved in this industry and fly.
