North-South Expressway (NSE)
The NSE is the longest expressway in Malaysia with the total length of 772 kilometres running from Bukit KayuHitam in Kedah near the Malaysia-Thai border to Johor Bahru at the southern portion of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway links many major cities and towns in western Peninsular Malaysia, acting as the 'backbone' of the west coast of the peninsula. It provides a faster alternative to the old federal route, thus reducing travelling time between various towns and cities.

New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE)
The NKVE is a 35-kilometre expressway running between Kuala Lumpur (Jalan Duta) and the New Klang industrial and urban area (Bukit Raja). The NKVE is a heavily-utilised route for residents in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang, Damansara, Sungai Buloh and Klang.

Federal Highway Route 2 (FHR2)
The Federal Highway Route 2 (FHR2) is a 16-kilometre upgraded expressway connecting BatuTiga (Shah Alam) and Sungai Rasau (Klang). The FHR2 is connected to the Federal Highway.

Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH)
The Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) is a 23-kilometre expressway connecting Mambau in Seremban to Port Dickson.

North-South Expressway Central Link (NSECL)
The North-South Expressway Central Link (NSECL) or the ELITE Highway is a critical link for the NSE providing northbound and southbound travelers with an uninterrupted journey bypassing the city congestion in Kuala Lumpur. The 63-kilometre expressway connects the NKVE (at Shah Alam) to the NSE (at Nilai North Interchange) and a popular route for travelers heading to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the Sepang F1 Circuit.

Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (Linkedua)
The Linkedua refers to the bridge that spans the stretch between Singapore and Malaysia. It extends a total of 47 km from TanjongKupang to Senai in Johor, Malaysia and a twin deck bridge supporting a dual three-lane carriageway linking TanjungKupang in Johor and TuasIn Singapore. The Linkedua provides speedy clearance and a hassle-free journey to commuters. This alternative route to the now infamous Causeway is certainly much faster, easier and safer. The Linkedua is already being regarded as the obvious choice for the transportation of people and goods between Malaysia and Singapore.

Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE)
The BKE connects Butterworth, Penang in the west to Kulim, Kedah in the east. It is also a main route to East-West Highway (Federal route ) via Baling, Kedah and Grik, Perak.

Penang Bridge
The Penang Bridge is the vital link connecting Penang Island and Perai on the mainland of West Malaysia with a total length of 13.5 kilometres.

Constructed in phases over a period of seven years, the NSE was officially opened on September 8 1994, signaling the coming of age of Malaysia's road transportation system.
