THE COMPANY
Freiberg Australia Pty Ltd has its head office in Perth, Western Australia. The company was established in 1946 by Peter Freiberg and at that time made office partitions only. Freiberg now manufactures systems furniture, workstations, office furniture, call centres, screen systems and demountable full height partitioning.
Over the years Freiberg, has earned a great reputation for supplying quality, well designed office screening systems and workstation product, to the office fitout market. The prestigious Prince Philip Award for Australian Design won by Freiberg's Series 60 range of office screening systems is a testament to the quality of the Freiberg design. More recently our aXis and zone systems both won awards at the Sydney COMFIA Designex show in 2002. Our company employs product designers and is constantly new ones.
Freiberg currently manufactures six ranges of office systems, workstations and associated office furniture. Series 60, Chameleon, [Synergy]3, zone and aXis Freiwall. Series 60 has enjoyed enormous success on the national and international market.
BACKGROUND
FREIBERG MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. was established in February, 1994. It was licensed to manufacture and distribute a range of office screening systems, workstation and associated furniture under the brand name “Freiberg”. Freiberg is a well-known office furniture system that has gained acceptance and recognition by designers and specificier in international market. The produce are widely sold in Australia, Asia, The Middle-east and Europe. It has equal quality and benefits to the world’s top system ex USA and Europe and at a price approximately lower by 25% to those offered by other manufacturers. The lower manufacturing cost and the growing market for open office system in Malaysia augurs well for the establishment of Freiberg (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Domestic and overseas inquiries had started to pour in even before the first panel of screen is made. With the low cost structure, quality implications and the right marketing tools ; Freiberg (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is potentially set to be the market leader in the industry.
The Freiberg (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. factory is situated in Klang with a floor space of 67,000 sq. ft. It will manufacture and distribute Freiberg office system to both the domestic and overseas market.
PRODUCTS
The Freiberg products range are shown in the attached brochures and include -
i) Series 60, an 60mm thick panel screening system with associated square edge furniture.
ii) Chameleon, an 80 mm thick tiles screening system with rounded top and end capping with associated square edge and rounded furniture.
iii) Stellar, an 60 mm thick tiles screening system with associated square edge furniture.
iv) Zone, an 38 mm thick panel screening system with desking system design specialist for call center.
v) Modular Desking System, variety of choice of worktop and support. Design special for conference table (meeting area), training room and educational use.
vi) Axis Desking System, a 25mm panel system with structural pole system.
vii) Freiwall – full height demountable system wall with acoustic function.
viii) Klober Germany imported chairs & local make chair.
