Also known as Kuantan Airport, the Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport is located 15km from Kuantan town, and serves Malaysia and Singapore.
As the first airport to take international flights on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the Sultan Ahmad Shah airport serves Malaysia Airlines and Firefly. The airport also houses the 6th Squadron and 19th Squadron of the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
