Connecting Communities     
An accessible road infrastructure and traffic dispersal system is needed to be aligned with the vibrant economic and population growth in Shah Alam. Hence, LKSA came to its inception after 42 months of construction work. This 14km highway crossed over from KESAS in the south towards the Federal Highway Route 2 in the north. It is seen as alternative route for road users as it helps to reduce traffic congestion along the Federal Highway. With 6 interchanges, this highway is a 3 lanes dual carriageway and provides a high speed link to the motorists.

With efficient technology, LKSA would be able to reduce traffic volumes on local roads and junctions that are already congested by redirecting through traffic away from the roads, helps to improve both through traffic and performance at local junctions and helps to reduce congestions at these locations. LKSA also helps to cope with the traffic generated from the proposed developments in the area by applying an open concept toll plazas at strategic points at Alam Impian and Sri Muda respectively.
