Hospital Umum Sarawak is the largest government hospital in Sarawak located in Kuching. The Hospital began its operation as early as 1870.
Currently, Hospital Umum Sarawak has 765 beds and comparable to other public hospitals in Malaysia and Asia. Many clinical departments has been setup such as the Department of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Clinical Research Unit and others.
